Raw Materials and Sustainable Bio Carbon Dioxide Production Process
Production of Carbon Dioxide (CO₂) from Ethanol Plants
The production of carbon dioxide (CO₂) in ethanol plants originates from the fermentation process, in which yeast ferments the sugars in raw materials to produce ethanol and pure sustainable bio carbon dioxide (CO₂). This is a biological process within the bioethanol production industry.
The sustainable bio carbon dioxide (BIO-CO₂) obtained from the ethanol production process, with a purity level of not less than 95%, is captured using advanced German technology and further purified. The carbon dioxide is then stored in liquid form for utilization across various industries, such as carbonated beverage manufacturing, the food industry, solvents in medical applications, welding processes, and agricultural industries.
The capture and utilization of carbon dioxide (CO₂) not only helps reduce the carbon footprint but also enables the plant to maximize the value of resources generated from the production process. This creates positive impacts on the circular economy, the environment, and society, contributing to a more sustainable future for all.
